Our standards
- Adults only. LockedIn is only for people aged 18 and older. Users must give their date of birth at sign-up, and accounts under 18 cannot be created.
- No content or behaviour that sexualises or endangers children. This includes CSAM, sexualised images or descriptions of minors, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to contact, meet or exploit a minor.
- No minors on the platform. Accounts that belong to, or appear to belong to, anyone under 18 are removed.
These rules are part of our Terms of Use, which every user agrees to.
How to report a concern
In the app
- Open the person’s profile or your chat with them.
- Tap the ⋮ menu, then Report.
- Choose Underage for anyone who may be under 18, or the reason that best fits, and submit.
You can also Block the user from the same menu to stop all contact immediately.
By email
Email contact@cyrocob.com with the subject “Child safety concern”. Include the user’s name as shown in the app and what you saw. Please do not attach or forward any images that may show the abuse of a child; describe them instead.
If a child is in immediate danger
Call your local emergency services (911 in the US) first. You can also report child sexual exploitation directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) atCyberTipline.org or 1-800-843-5678, or to the authorities in your country.
What we do when we receive a report
- We review child safety reports as a top priority.
- We remove CSAM and any content that sexualises or endangers a minor as soon as we become aware of it.
- We permanently ban accounts involved in CSAE, and remove accounts that belong to anyone under 18.
- We report apparent CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline as required by US law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and cooperate with law enforcement. We preserve relevant information for law enforcement as the law requires.
Compliance
LockedIn complies with all applicable child safety laws, including US federal law on reporting child sexual abuse material, and with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy.
